DIY Facial Fun at Home with a Friend!

Let’s be real. If we could get a facial every month from a professional, we would. We all know that’s not possible for most but, this doesn’t change the fact our skin needs it. I usually get a facial seasonally and needed a skin care routine for in between. But where do I start?

I see all the different products out there on the shelves as I feel lost staring at the shelves wondering “What’s the best product for my needs?” And like most, I have tried a lot of them without finding that perfect product. Until now.

I started by talking to the pros. I booked myself for a facial and took the opportunity to ask questions about the process and products being used during my facial. I learned which products were being used and in what order they were applied. My skin felt AMAZING after my facial and I wanted to be able to do that for myself between visits to the spa.

I followed up my facial by consulting with Angelina and Whitney at All About Massage about which products are best for my needs. I discovered that Wolf & Pine has different products for different skin types so I could select the ones best suited to my needs. Here is my list of Wolf & Pine products I’ve purchased to start my own home care routine in order of use:

Step One - Shroom Trip Cleansing Gel

Step Two - Cream Pie Glow Polish (exfoliator)

Step Three - So Hip It Hurts Clay Mask

Step Four - Tight N Moist Youth Oil

Now all I was missing was a friend. It wasn’t hard to convince a friend to come over - all it took was the offer of a free facial accompanied by music, snacks and wine. Those are the ingredient of a great Saturday afternoon. It was the most fun I’ve had at home in awhile and we made the most of it and I encourage you to do the same. We walked around the neighborhood with our face masks on and enjoyed the looks on peoples faces when they saw us. The lesson here is get creative and have fun with home facials and in the end, you’ll have better looking skin. Win Win!

If you want to research what All About Massage Day Spa has to offer this is a good place to start: https://www.allaboutmassage.ca/esthetics/ There is information on different facials that are offered and you can use the “Book Now” button to book an appointment with ease.
