Parking Fees
Parking fees apply from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. Evenings after 6 p.m. and weekends are free. No overnight parking is permitted.
TIP: On the map below you will see the “Energy Court” location. While it is a quick walk from the spa the bonus is 2HRS of FREE PARKING! You can also use the Hot Spot app to park here and pay for more time if you need more than the free 2hrs.
Pay for Parking with Your Phone
It is now quick and easy to pay for metered parking using your mobile device and the HotSpot Parking app.
The app allows drivers to pay with a mobile device using their licence plate number, meter number and a credit card or visa debit. Meter numbers are located on the pay stations. Quick tip - parking meter numbers for our area are 9969, 9970, 9971 and 9972. You can use any of these numbers when parked on Durham, Larch,Cedar or Elgin. You cannot use these numbers when parked on Elm St.
For more information on how to use Hotspot Parking visit htsp.ca or signup by downloading the app from the app store.
DON’T HAVE A CELL PHONE? NO WORRIES! PAY FOR PARKING AT THE PAY STATION
Paying by coins at the pay station is available and remains unchanged. Pay station locations are within a block of wherever you park. You can spot them by looking for a green rectangular sign with a white arrow pointing down to the pay station.
Special Features
HotSpot Parking app users benefit from a number of features.
New users receive 30 minutes of free parking upon signup.
Users can top up parking remotely from a phone instead of needing to go back to the meter.
If a user ends a parking session early, unused time will be refunded to their account and can be used for future parking sessions.
The app automatically notifies users when their meter is close to expiring.
Support for the app is available by emailing support@htsp.ca or calling 1-855-712-5888.
PARKING TIPS
Leave early to allow yourself time to find a parking spot.
Pay attention to signage in parking lots - some lots are private and require a parking pass which means they are not available for hourly parking.
Alot of people don’t realize there is parking all along the one side of Elgin St so there are often parking spots available
